So today I got to revisit an old friend:     My first encounter was a year ago when I damn near cut through her in a cavity in the underside of an ash branch in a nature reserve.

Very smooth couple of hrs on this sycamore this morning

Nothing crazy here, 70ft ish Grand fir removal.  But had a friend come along and take some proper photos for once!

Couple recent jobs, well the last two I actually photographed! 

 

half dead oak to monolith, priced 3guys to rig etc over new roof, ornamental lamp, fence, sewage system, but decided to have an easy morning and employ one of the co’s I occasionally climb for. (Can be allergic to social media hence the name being scrubbed out) Photos really don’t do it justice, grapple saw and operator made light work of it

 

and a lime, would have been an easy short day but bloody strong winds and snow blowing towards the building on the left and logshed behind made it a rigathon.

1 up 1 down, tractor making light work of the ground work though, felled after last shot
