Bit of planting today. After spending all morning broken down it was a pleasant afternoon. Its not often we do much like this so it was nice to put something back. Especially on this site as a fair fee trees have come out. There was an accident involving a little girl and a fallen brancg which unfortunatly broke her jaw. Alls well now though and she even came out and put a couoke of scoops of soil in the pit. :-) 295b79625f45be751bd52dd8046af7b9.jpgf1a3b32a43d39b76e66801c065c2016d.jpg

Well me and had a good day reducing an ash, we don't get the chance to do a reduction very often and joe has only done a small one before. I think we did quite well with this one, taking quite a lot of weight out and re shaping without ruining the tree. Jay did a good job on the ground on his own. Was an enjoyable climb for once. Managed to get before and after and got jay to take some photos while we was working .ImageUploadedByArbtalk1486150021.752226.jpg.df519d7fecaa67c361555c9787c1123b.jpg

I don't often get pictures as I'm to wrapped up in what I'm doing but asked the grounds to grab my phone at get a couple of pics earlier as I'd only had the one job on today and it wasn't a rush.

Unfortunately only got a couple of photos of one leggy limb being taken back then forgot to ask him to take more. 2 medium sized Ash trees taken down. Done and dusted by 1, very happy customer. Even had time for a quick pint before the misses got back with the nipper.

A couple of skinny reductions from today. Wasn't looking forward to them if I'm honest due to the skinny-ness but was well chuffed with the result. Initially the customer just wanted them topped. I managed to talk him into having them reduced.
