No beast tree but nice and awkward ,a Wind blown hung up Corsican with a nice SRT anchor point up the shot beech next to it.

Used another Corsican behind to secure an anchor line and wind some tension up on the lowering device once the top was dismantled the last bit was cut free then lowered the stem down with a felling cut swung it all away from the building , all worked a treat.

looks like you picked the dodgiest tree in the whole woodland to anchor off :001_tongue: sounds like a nice job though.

Nothing serious today. I went up the tree with one of my apprentices this morning to work on his limb walking, reducing end weight and pruning cuts. I don't think it will be long before i don't have to do much. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1457016227.523628.jpg.fe4bd1926b0550003a6bcfd67938f53f.jpg
