Yeah lovely place to work, hopefully more work to come as well. Yeah i could see the old man of kent from the tree I was in across the pinetum, was about 400 yards away. When I got down I went and had a look at it. They reckon 51 metres tall, still looks small compared to the stuff that Reg puts up! If we get a bit of downtime there hopefully I might be able to zip up it but apparently theres a hornets nest to step over half way up!

 

Got quite a bit of helmet cam footage but can't work out how to do it!

 

Think this is the old man of kent from the top of my tree

 

I did a little work up there a few months back Jay, Its a lovely place to work. Took this photo

Have you met John Allen yet? the Operations Manager. He was my boss for a year or so before he started working there.

Yeah met him this week to go through the works and met him again today to discuss future works, was he your boss at holbeuc?

 

That's the man of kent in your pic, the one I was dismantling was just across the glade near the site offices

Yup, he was my boss at Houlbec. Really nice bloke. If ya see him again, tell him Sid said Hi. Thanks. Some big old trees there. Wouldnt get me up them. :001_tongue:
