Nice tree. So you cut and chucked all of it besides that one rig you showed us?

I rigged out the other small ones over the garage, the 3rd picture was done in two peices.

Quite a lot had enough lean away to free fell it.

I was a bit annoyed that the stem missed my carefully positioned brash pile, big hole in the grass but easily fixed..

Bit of bank clearance today, started by felling and snedding, then doh, there is a 3 ton 👹

Semi controlled chaos ensued and now it just needs a bit of fettleing.PXL_20251008_130238395.thumb.jpg.4412bdd3a016f51159fb93cc3dd07b7a.jpgPXL_20251008_130217154.thumb.jpg.b13b15540175bb5653fc2480cf2319ec.jpgPXL_20251008_130209511.thumb.jpg.ecfe37723fe385e109e500b6031311bd.jpg

Today's job... A large dead standing lime likely killed off by the surrounding honey fungus, armillaria. Followed by a fun free climb of a large nearby oak tree that has been loosing large limbs for the last three decades due to being crowded out by younger trees competing for light. (Local authority doesn't seem prepared to cute the required trees around it to save this beautiful heritage tree

a couple of shots at the end of a busy week working in the lovely village of Grosmont. We dismantled 3 trees with serious basal decay in a very congested church yard- no access for any machinery unfortunately.IMG_9411.thumb.jpeg.214fba23a947873bd6998727d2ed0a56.jpegIMG_9409.thumb.jpeg.10d753e9f13cba503341687b98bc1860.jpeg
