Aye a poplar, when I quoted as I walked in the drive my head said Sycamore, then as I got closer I thought, is it a huge hawthorn, then as I saw the buds I realised what it was.  Never seen 1 like it before.  90% rot at the base.

Did this ash tree yesterday. Completely hollow with a nasty split running up the middle. Ratchet strap did close the split up abit so I think it helped. 

 

Just had to get it on the ground, home owner was tidying up. Perfect Saturday morning job.

Good morning my lovely friend ? 

I do not own a pair of wellingtons lol ? I spend five days a week in a pair of brasher boots which have to be THE most comfortable boots in existence ?? My whole uniform consists of Black lightweights and black tops and coats !!!! Not an attractive sight I’m afraid ? So Stubby is a shoe snob then ?
