I decided it was a long overdue update for that and critical cover. Also decided to go for a really good but expensive one after reading a few injury/recovery threads.

Same, getting ill/injured will happen sooner or later

Visited Gunton park water powered sawmill. It's only open a few times a year for just a few hours. But worth the effort. Here's some pics.

Looks fascinating. When we were in Holland last year we went to a wind powered sawmill. Really interesting, was painfully slow most of the time, but they had several blades cutting one trunk which looked a bit different.

Yeah this one can do 3 cuts at a time. The old boy who was doing the demo told me they can't go any faster without hearing protection. All due to the noise of the water hitting the wheel and apparently flat out the building and ground shudders.

Recent video I watched from Holland,

Nice find Balli.

A veritable DaVinci like treasure trove!

Soaked for a year before milling, interesting.

Thanks.

Fridays job was to remove this line of conifers ready for a new fence, forgot to take a before picture, makes me glad the man I was helping has a 12 inch chipper 😊 2 loads of chip and one of old fence and stumps.
