Remember when we winched the loaded landy up the hill? Those chocks were sunk about 8 inches into the ground. The RB still pulled it up though.

That was a rather heavy load, 130 full of chip and chipper up a 30degree wet hillside nd she still pulled no problem 👍

Carrying out some reactive works for highways today.

This one was a articulated lorry that went off the road. Snapped 3 willows at the base and two completely out of the ground plus 2 hawthorns. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1458399202.219507.jpg.3097bdadb41e86482f91578ff4900ceb.jpg

If you look near the driver side mirror you can see where they craned out the trailer (3 wheel grooves.) ImageUploadedByArbtalk1458399384.260866.jpg.a1db409ce120fec9eb51c12aa37123a8.jpg

We replaced the destroyed ones and coppiced anything remained but heavily damaged.

Was out today planting an Aesculus indica with Arb legend Henry Girling. We had to dig/stump grind out an old Horse chestnut stump whose roots had interwoven with the surrounding granite cobbles and managed to tip the stump grinder.lol. Overall a very enjoyable morning listening to Henry tell a story or two. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1458405957.741692.jpg.472900daf10ecfb5ff85f7a5769f55f2.jpg

Same designs as the rayco 1625, I lost count of the times mine went over.

Main thing is turn it off asap and once it's righted give it a few minutes for the oil to settle.

Sure you knew that anyway.
