Many thanks to Gary (breffni on arbtalk) for travelling down to Mid Wales to do an ash dismantle today, great lad to work with and a very skilled climber 👍🏻

Removed some stumps today.. Anything to keep busy, the tirfor worked a treat. Even brung out the 346 that has been passed down father to son lol

A lovely week long job from a few weeks back, clearing dangerous trees, clearing overgrown scrub, pruning a few trees and first go at speed lining (loved it) whilst dismantling a Scots pine. All timber left on site for firewood and chip left for pathways, happy days

Is that a 9 tonne trailer? Looks like a great job.

Yes was a nice job, it's a 10 tonne trailer with a 6.3m crane. Basically same as 9 tonne trailer but larger tyres so spreads weight better, and not much difference in money, so figured it better for sensitive sites like this one where we working next to ancient meadow

Well after a great weekend at the cutters and climber event it was back to the day job. Beech tree removal. Definitely not the tallest tree but fair phat with plenty of timber. Dropped the limbs and got it to a pole by tea break at 10.30. Helped the guys on the floor clean up and then flopped the stick over. Left site by 2pm. Happy daze!
