Down in Big Tree Country last week. A chance to see the Fortingall Yew. Europe's oldest living tree.

Listed as somewhere between 2500 and 5000 years old. Its girth used to be 15m, but fire damage and souvenier hunters thinned it a bit!

Nice to be in and around much more deciduous woodland too. Too many coniferous forests in Moray.
