I don't agree about the test being easier in a 7.5 tonner, if you go for that instead of the full C I think your wasting your money.

There is an element of luck, but every time (except one)I have failed a test there has been a good reason.

I run one. If its a crew cab they are crap for ground clearance!!! Cost me roughly 130 for the new fuel tank and 70 ish for fuel and filters etc....

My 2.8 is flat and i prefer my ldv 2.5td transit engine for power and pulling...

yrs needs a good mecanic to have a look @ it ,:001_rolleyes: its probaly somthing an nothing

bit off topic but ive been looking at a iveco , but was 5.2t , was 55 plate , about 55k , clean as out , £4500- but that means o liecence , booooooo , and id have to do my 7,5t liecence.

arnt the 3.5t very heavy as a chasis cab ? i like to know the weights of both 3.5 and 5.2 chassis cab

i thought about getting the 5.2 , down grading the chassis cab , do the alloy chip box and in time do my liecence and upgrade it , but , the dreaded o liecence.

I was lead to believe that the 35c14 is actually a 5.2 that has been downgraded already.fact is your still going to over load it if its 3.5t

Moosie

On my Samsung Note - It's big, but it's good

I'm in this dilemma at the minute jut had my medical today but not sure which to go for. Maybe the test is easier for 7.5 due to size but at the end of the day it's all the luck of the day.

The only reason to do the 7.5 is age, i waited a few months to turn 21 and went straight for the big rigid at the exact same price, found it relativly easy, go for the bigger class, opens more doors :001_smile:

I liked the Iveco at my last work, found the low gearing great when towing 2t, but diddnt like the high revs when going over 55
