I drive machines up ramps all the time. Tracked skiploader, concrete crusher, digger, and used to drive chipper up till I got the custom trailer. Ramps cost 500, and I drilled two holes in the truck bed, and shove a pin into them through the ramp. They never move.

I am the only one who will drive a digger up, everyone else is too scared!

We just track our wee grinder into the back off the iveco long ramps and put the tipper up a foot and it goes in no bother

Well for a year I loaded my digger onto the Ifor without any ramps at all. So any ramps is gonna be safer then that, just make sure you have a good method of securing the ramps onto the bed so they don't move.

used to do it a lot with a dosko grinder. A bit tense at first but it's no bother. Easier than lifting an unpropelled one onto the back of a truck by hand.

Perhaps get not only hooks for the ramps, but get ones with channels, so it's harder to fall off the edges... belt and braces

We use to load a safetrak greenmech onto a transit tipper, with just the ramps resting on the back, just had to be aware of the ground conditions

I know a lad who drives his Rayco into the back of his high top tranny. But then again he also drives his TW150vtr into the back aswell T105 ifor behind. It's a good setup!!

I occasionally load a 3.6t 360 onto a mpg using ramps. It's easier with tracks than wheels!
