Have you had a look at the new website? SUGI FOR HUSQVARANA | Sugihara Guide Bars

 

 

There are a lot of options there now.

 

Bear in mind one of the weaknesses of the current Sugi bar range is that you cannot interchange the 3/8 noses with the .325 noses - size is slightly different - a shame as it would be easier.

 

The 3/8" and .404 noses all have the same fitting so are interchangeable.

Just bought one for my new 395xp, taking it out to cut up some Oak tomorrow. These bars are really cheap over here, it was about 40% cheaper than an Oregon or Husqvarna equivalent?!

Out of interest how much did you pay for this one? And how much was the equivalent Oregon or Husky bar?

The bar was $115 compared to around $190 (from memory) for an Oregon pro, I spoke to the dealer and they said that Sugi bars were factory direct and all the Oregon stuff comes from a wholesaler, the Husqvarna one was over $200..

Hi Rob,

 

Just a note to say the bars & chains arrived today with a Sugi grease gun for the roller tip thanks, beautifully engineered & very impressed with the quality - even Mrs NFG thought it looked great.

 

Certainly get one if I ever step up to a 390 - or maybe the 365 will pull a 24" on semi skip!
