Just got my first discovery. 1990 silver 200tdi. Anything I should look out for. Gearbox is good and had a recon head! Should I be worried about the head.

I know about wheel arches and boot rot. But these are good. Anything else I need to look for in it?

What tests do I need to do to ensure everything is good? Will be doing a comp test when I get her.

Driver's side footwell, inner wings and sills rot bad too, but repair panels are dead cheap.

Pretty bombproof generally mechanically - sure you'll like it :thumbup1:

Yeah chopped in the 2a as it wasn't good for family use. So getting this tomorrow, been in them loads but never driven one, I'm sure it will be purel luxury compared to the 1965 2a with a top speed of 50. And a ride that leaves you vibrating an hour after driving.
