Paul, I reckon you’re focusing on irrelevancies, instead of patting yourself on the back for improving your nutrition or getting a six pack (you’re 50 years old for crying out loud!) maybe try to  achieve more meaningful goals

I am enjoying climbing so much at the moment that I am happy being a Tree Surgeon. ??? P.S I,m 51? and 50 is the new 40....and I quite like the idea doing an Iron man challenge!

Yesterday was a massive high for me and i ended the day with a ride up to my favourite hideout up in the Penines,Fox Cottage where I witnessed a spectacular sunset...

Woke up with my feet firmly on the ground after what was a massive high to see yet another marvelous natural sight over the neighbourhood...

Check out Rat Race, they have some great events, they do a coast to coast on the bike too, be right up your street! 
 

ps it’s kind of your thread so I’m going to take a stab in the dark here and say you can post whatever you want be it to gym or not to gym ??

For a few seconds there Paul I thought you'd gone all Harry Potter on us with quinquagenarian thought you be more house huffle puff or slitherin (sadly the only 2 house names I know from Harry Potter) [emoji848][emoji23]

Good to hear your focus is the gym. But also like mick I'm keen to hear if you've got any future plans on being a trainer?
