Gutted my airstream boots, purchased at the arb fair just a few weeks back have given me a wet foot today

All i was doing was being on top of a conifer hedge trimming.

I've even been nice to these boots and trying to conserve them by using old knackered boots for stump grinding etc.

There was a small nick in the red bit on the front toe end on the boot when i got them but it's just cosmetic so wasn't bothered.

Deffinetly wet, not sweat! only left foot squelshing...

Gutted :(

How waterproof are these supposed to be? theyre gortex!

That's not right, you should contact the company you bought them from and give them an opportunity to sort it out.

I'm on my second pair and they are great.

My pair are nearly year old and are great. I'd agree with Peter, contact who you got them from and explain. They are good boots.

I had the same problem with my first pair - sent them back to the supplier, who sent them back to Meindl who said something along the lines of 'oh yeah. They're not waterproof at all...ummm....sorry' And sent me a new pair. But it did take a good few weeks...

Worth it in the end, mind, the replacement pair were/are totally waterproof and good boots.
