BT recalled all their bucket trucks earlier this year, or was it last year? When a hoist boom cracked off, corrosion problem I was told.

It would seem that that particular machine has failed in that position before. The previous owner was in the process of getting it factory repaired when he went bust. One would certainly hope that it hasn't had at least one L.O.L.E.R.

inspection without repair.

 

One has to feel desperately sorry for the victims,who would have had no idea of the machines history.:thumbdown:

A MEWP is a relatively safe machine. To put it in perspective, how many have failed over the last 10 years?

I think there is a culture of hating them " because I'm an invincible rock hard climber". I am a recovering member of this idiotic group.
