I really enjoyed my first show, bought my rope wrench and a pantin from honey bros, awesome set up they had in their tent and only company i found with the rope wrench, tried bartering a bit but no luck, prices were better than on the internet so it was ok, got a few free magazine instead

As Andy said....sales were pretty poor when taking into account the amount of people who have been asking for tshirts for the past 5 years. Not sure if it was because of the weather, the price, the design, or a combination of the 3 really. Still....at least I have plenty in stock now to sell online to anyone who wants 1

Havent got anything proper set up just yet...its in the pipeline. In the meantime I can accept payments through paypal or bacs then ship out orders. I'll start a thread next week once I catch up with the backlog of work thats built up during my absence

Hi All

 

Thanks to all that came along to the show. Great to put names to faces and I did see a few people I wanted to have a chat with but was always busy at the time (I'll try and catch up with you at the next show).

 

Pricing

We discounted stuff a little from our website, but in the world of the internet there is not much to play with nowadays, that's just a fact and it's not going to change unless we put up prices the rest of the year.

Have a look back and see what you where paying for stuff 5 to 10 years ago, and I bet you will find it's about the same. We as dealers have had to swallow that as it's become so more competitive than in the past.

 

I still enjoy doing the shows, it takes about 7 days work to do a 2 day show and takes me a few days to get over it. Once again thanks to all that got there despite the weather, and looking forward to the next one.
