Stihl v. Husky?

BMW v. Merc?

Mainly use Stihl, but my old 351XP has been a far better saw than my MS260 (although I may have bought a dog).

Used a 338XPT once and seriously considered hurling it from the tree into a nearby skip!

Generally most of the pro saws made by the big two are pretty good. Matter of personal choice and proximity of dealer.

Husky make much better helmets, though!

I've never run a 395, as it is abt 1.5 lb heavier than a 660--which I will only run with a dual port muffler, which bumps it up to 7.7 hp. Many love the 395, and say it is torquier and faster than a 660...I doubt that, with the 660 d.p. cover anyhow....

I run Stihl, Husky, and Dolmar, they're all good saws.

Personal preferance is Sthil.

I can't say a bad thing about the 660,especially as here they have retained the old style oil and fuel caps. And heated handles come as standard.
