I have a SP 125 myself, keep meaning to find a bar for it as the one it came with is not the correct one. An interesting choice of pics, After a vsit to Mr McC by  Mr Stihl Jnr resulted in Stihls advancement in magnesium casting as the McC's were ahead by miles in their casting methods.

Thankyou for that Eagle, that was a fab saw fr me in the woods, must have dropped and logged 100s of tons of wood- sold it fr 20 quid as a firewood saw when alloy case started cracking  😔  K

Yeah they are a cracking saw it served you well  they done a double eagle 80 as well

but there quite rare

Did not Heron Suzuki do the cylinder for them ?  K

When I was a teenager in the 70’s, a long time ago, we use to use the Mac 6. Top handle saw for climbing. At the time a great saw.IMG_1192.jpg
Not sure if they would compete with the modern Stihls etc
