Timberland gloves are great, the chainsaw protective ones are far too restricted across the back of the left wrist, i have spent years going through gloves, have to go with what is practical, and safe, not copping out but climbing in chainsaw gloves is a faff, John Deere do some really nice leather ones, I use XXL for big paws, they can be washed, i can climb all day in them, but it does come down to a personal preference. Same with the Gill stuff, great gloves, fingerless and you spend the rest of the night digging crap out from under your nails. Even the waterproof stuff just makes you sweaty and horrible. Hmm, better things to be doing like pricing my next big climb or pampering the wife, or better in the pub discussing that big swing you took earlier. The Timberland pro stuff is great, John Deere stuff is nice and comfy but at a price. Use the force

What do you do if you need to use a chainsaw in thorn?

Do you have to wear the gauntletts over the saw gloves?

Probably. The company we work for dont live in the real world, and would probably make it a requirement if they thought of it.

Timberland Ed but get big ones they are tight !!

I found abrasion resistance was crap but otherwise a good glove. I had a pair on when we were at Ben's job.

I don't envy you as they aren't cheap, will get abused and probably lost lol

All my guys on scrub clearance had them and loved them.
