  14. The HSE are very hesitant about recommending av gloves it's true. I believe that this has to do with their inability to test their efficacy scientifically. There's a lot of empirical / anecdotal evidence that they are useful but of course all the control measures mentioned by other contributors are important.   15. You real ale drinkers should try the elusive Hereford Pale Ale - best enjoyed by the Wye at Symonds Yat outside the Saracens Head! Apart from some of the others already mentioned (especially the St. Austell Tribute) I also really like a Butcombe Blonde. For those visiting Cheltenham you could try The Swan at the upper end of the high street. Almost always has Cumberland and or other Jennings beers - (at least 3 ales from various places) also murky cider.
