Evening all,

 

Just thought id ask the question as im putting a couple of quotes together tonight. :001_smile:

 

You doing the same? if so got any pics and whats the customers request for the job? :thumbup1:

I very rarely do written quotes for domestic stuff.

 

For some reason domestic customers asking for written quotes are generally timewasters who never have the job done.

 

Don't ask me why, that's just what I have found.

So for the people that don't write quotes to mrs miggins..

 

What if you do the job and they say you haven't done this or that. You feel a fool cuz you have no back up to say that's how the job was going to be???

That's one good reason but my favourite one is there is no way I would remember two weeks down the road what the spec was on the job.:laugh1:

 

If they are going to use my written quote to get a lower price then they would use my verbal one too so to me it is just easier to provided written quotes.
