I havent gt one but i can imagine they are quite good when you are climbing around the crown of a large tree but maybe not so good when you are working in a more compact tree or wading your way through an overgrown Beech hedge. :confused1:

Awesome, and works even better with the new silky (zubat) design, the case has slots for the elastic preventing the case slowly dropping down, preventing accidental damage to the straps

no more fumbling about trying to insert the saw into the case when in akward positions, well worth trying

Ditto on the new Zubat, fits a treat.

I hate the thing! I have tried on many occasions thinking its just cos I am not used to it so I try and try and still hate it. It gets caught in branches and your rope gets caught in it and it restricts movement of the leg. Hate it hate it hate it!

i love it, i dont like fumbling around behind me for a scabbard, id rather reach for my leg!

found it great with my zubat, i just use the straps from it on my sugoi now. which is an ace combo as the scabbard has holes already

I,ve posted on this topic before but i,ll say it again..The Silky Saw, especially Nakanoto is my Favourite Arb tool,it accompanies me up every tree and is located in a Sawpod on my shin. it,s simple to access and after a while you can quick draw it ,cut and replace it second nature..no more fishing about for it, desperatlely trying to return it to it,s scabbard....The Darbyshire Sawpod is Perfect!
