A very good friend of mine is a lay preacher, I think that's what it's called. Anyhow, he's a proper Christian and often recites this n that from the bible. There must be something good about it because he has an amazing outlook on life, is never miserable, always happy and I love being in his company.

It aint for me though, no way am I having fish shapes on my motors.....:001_tongue:

I was brought in a strongly religious family, but broke my ties with that particular branch of Christianity when I could at about 16.

My father still mourns for my loss, but also respects my own choices in life and it's never been an issue. I'm not a Christian, but strongly admire those that have a deep and true faith in whatever religion they adhere to.

Religion gives people strength in times of need, comfort in times of sadness and joy in times of jubilation.

I understand one may choose not to believe in any god or religion at all as indeed I have chosen. But I admire those that do and find it somewhat distasteful to answer a simple question "are there any..." with such loathing and disrespect.

And yes Matt, I'm sure there are but with such a strong anti-Christianity voiced so strongly I doubt many will declare themselves as such.

I'd hope that people are mature enough to respect another's religious beliefs. Of course, some will prove me wrong.

I work for and with a number of Christian guys. They have there beliefs, I have mine.

Not a problem to my knowledge.

Depends on definition.

On paper yes, due to upbringing.

Beleive in that there was a Nazarene called Jesus who walked the planet around two thousand years ago, then yes.

Does this make me a christian? I prefer not to be pigeon holed due to the confines of a set body of people, but i do beleive that there is an energy that we can all channel into for enlightenment.

Keep an ever evolving open mind.
