200tdi/300tdi/td5 MPG

Mine is rubbish, 300tdi 130 on MUDs with full width intercooler returns about 15-18mpg.

Love to hate it at the moment. Wouldn't do without it.

On a moterway run to Gloucester i managed about 32-34 mpg, but i normally get 28-29 grubbing in the undergrowth. That is with a 300 tdi enginne

in my 110 200tdi pickup I get 30mpg average, more like 35mpg on a run.

mine is a 200tdi 90 and mine's doing about 30 to 35 mpg on bfg all terrain

Ive had all 3 - TD5 deffo the best engine, shame the same cant be said about the rest of the machine ! If you can get 30MPG your doing well ! Make her make you money !! thats my advice !

last time i worked out my mileage was a while ago in my old p reg 90 (300tdi)

havent bothered to do the maths again since but i know our 110 td5 feels more like 28-30

300tdi was the better engine in my opinion td5 had issues with water on electrics but then saying that if you buy a 300tdi with 100.000+ on the clock expect to put a new clutch and release fork in and maybe gearbox, I've had a few 90 landys and the two I spent less money on were 300tdi, fuel consumption will be between 25 and 35 mpg, we have the new 90 on the farm and the gearbox has already been changed.

Our td5 disco van with 600kg in the boot does 30 mpg on a long run. Around town 25 . Had slicks bfg at and bfg mud terrains on ats knock it 3mpg mud terrains 5 mpg. If you think you might sit neck deep in mud buy a 200/300 tdi if you think you may want to do 200 miles in a day get a TD5
