Few splices from today

I find DB easier than 16 strand tbh, the difference with DB is that you can't really see what your doing until your ready to make the final bury, when it all suddenly becomes clear.

I agree, once you get your head around the DB splice then they are far simpler and a lot less effort than the 16 strand.

Nice work mate. To be honest I much prefer 16 strand, there alot easier to churn out at trade shows! Haha. Once you've mastered the crossover there a breeze.

Starting on tachyon was a brave move to mate,if you can splice that then all other double braids are simple!! Keep up the good work.

I also prefer double braid splices now, was a nightmare to start but as long as I keep the crossover tight it's now problem free........usually

Only done a couple of 16 strand splices but it was a real battle, and very weird having a hollow eye when I'm so used to splicing core dependant.

I guess its all a learning process.

Nice job Dak! Please, do you spliced Ocean 10mm or 8mm?

Both bro.

I did my old tachyon last week, This where what i spliced this week, I had to let the blisters heal. Was insanely hard!

This new tachyon was a breeze, I was shocked. Cut out the purple core though! Im guessing most people do?
