Been pretty poor here. 10c with 30-40mph gusting wind and heavy rain. Went up to a reservoir for the day and the only time I wasn't shivering was in the water out of the wind.

Beautiful none the less but not feeling very summer!

It doesn't always rain in Devon! 

My wife and kids are in the SW presently and my wife was reporting glorious sunshine a couple of days ago.....whilst sat in hours of traffic jams 😄

 

Though she did say that whilst trying to meet up with family at the village cricket match in Somerset that it rained heavily.

Thats weird maybe its one of thoose crazy council spend it or loose it things?

 

Here the  council (or whoever)  has just emptied  the salt boxes on hills out dumping the salt in piles into the verge adjacent to the boxes.

 

 

Assume they will be refilled or more likely maybe it means  the plan is the boxes are all gonna  be scrapped?
