‘Kin mental here today.

 

Oslo area of Norway.  28c all day and then a swim in the fjord.  The forecast changed and a wall of wind and rain came across the fjord.  When it hit us it was a bit mental.  Bits of tree flying through the air and I got soaked trying to get things in from the decking and balcony.

had a call out to a snapped out poplar that was hung up over the road.

 

the wind had died out somewhat so did a bit to try and make it safe and fix today.

Don't get too excited; it's stopped already but was indeed mighty welcome for the hour it lasted.  Good rain too, not mere falling mist

They've been fantastic light shows haven't they.  Looking at the rain radar I reckon rain's about half an hour away; we'll see how flashy it gets tonight!
