Couldn't fully hear the audio but got the gist of it.

 

I don't think he should've got involved, he used his physical advantage on a much smaller chap, would he have done the same thing on a same sized bloke?

 

There are ways and means to deal with joe public like this who scrounge the system for a free ride, violence isn't one of them

He was right, normally people don't get involved because we are made to feel it's wrong.

 

And as for saying would he have done it to someone his own size well we will never know.

 

Days gone by the inspector would have done it, but not now because of the don't touch me I will get you charged mob.

 

Sometimes violence solves everything.

The second the lad swore at the conductor the rules changed, he showed no respect for authority and then started swearing infront of woman and kids.

Every train, bus, taxi rank, street should have a Big Man.

There is a saying, if there were as many big men as there was wee men, there would be no wee men left :)

If the young lad had lost his money and was desperate and dealt with it diferently, I bet the big man would have given him the money.

he wasn't a bully, he was a peacekeeper.
