I have run 3500kg for 18 years in my own business. We used to loose avon tyres all the time and Mich werent much better. I remember throwing my dummy when only the far east were making trailer tyres. But I have to take it back as since running maximilers and trailer max not had a problem in 10 years. I dont think we run your size and run the later ifor williams stuff. I think our tyres look skinner than yours but I remember there was some problems with early ifor blowing tyres. Funny thing is we only ever lost tyres on the way back from scotland when we were empty we assumed the speed rather than weight goosed the tyres.

I have had not but problems with maxmiler tyres either distorting or blowing, spoke to local ifor dealer who says they have a problem with the belting in the tyre coming apart. They are now swapping tyres on all new trailers to a 195 wide cargomax tyres and since then they have had no returns. I swapped the tyres on my lm166 to this new tyre and I don't have any issues anymore

Ive seen a few flat beds running what look like rear fork lift type tyres all round. They almost look like solids but i'm sure they're not. Not sure what the ratings for these would be, and whether or not they would suit your rims? Might be worth investigating though.

That's the ones I have seen and I'm trying to find, they look just like forktruck tyres :thumbup1:

If my memory serves me right, think they were the ones on early I/F trailers fitted to split rim wheels. I think the tyres were michelin but were replaced by the present wheel/tyre combination as there were blowing out at motorway speeds. There may be a more modern version of this set up available now. I have had 3 maxmiler and avons blow as well, told it was due to potholes on roads giving impact damage, rupturing the cords.

My Ifor came with 195/50R13 Avons which have all been replaced with maxmilers, trailermax or compass tyres.

The tyre fitter says they dont last because 6.5bar(95 psi) is too much when unloaded and they bounce around alot.

185/70R13 should carry more load or same load at reduced pressure and still fit your same rims.Tyre radius will be increased by about 30 mm.
