No way am I reading through 90 pages of info. Been off work for 5 weeks, really liking the rw for pruning. But I can't get my head round the benefits of it in a removal. As I just spike around the tree rarely climbing the rope. Are you lot wearing a foot ascender over your spikes

I just spike around the tree the same pulling in the slack, I do wear Pantin over spikes when needed.

You shouldn't need to touch it at all mate, especially on ascent, but the RW does need to be kept high, which is where the Lanyard Over The Shoulder (LOTS) comes in.

I think (correct me if I'm wrong Drew) Jonno Smith sorted a bicycle inner tube round his chest with a clip to hold the RW high?

It should be physically effortless bro, apart from pumping the leg with the Pantin. Everything else is just balance.

Yeah mark, johno and Zane started the inner tube thang with there unicenders, now all the srt climbers be it rw or uni are adorned with inner tubes. It's the great kiwi revolution!! And it's actually really comfortable to climb with on. And you shouldn't need to touch the hitch to dress it...
