Rope Wrench feedback

Recommended Posts

Okay so it's Xmas and I might take the plunge of the ZK-2, why I ask myself?good question, but it seems that I have the tendency to try and relate to what people think is good and bad.

But I have sat down and thought about how it could make my life easier in certain situations, I used the ZK-1 but never got on with the way I set it up, but now all of you have been getting "stiffys" it seems function much better.

Any tips for the set up and where you find it best use

So been trying out the RW. It's very different trying to use it compared to dDrt. When I ascend(badly) the hitch

doesn't drop fully with my weight on it until I release it. I've put some pics up below if anyone can give me some advice. My tether isn't great either I'm just using the op to get me going

Can't help with the wrench set up! But you should definantly make your tails on your friction hitch a bit longer.

Other than that ill get back to you when I've dabbled in the ZK-2 more.

make the tether as stiff as possible bro-tape a stick to it (low tech) or custom make one from carbon fibre ( hi tech)-both will have the same outcome and will improve the RW 100%. it will advance the RW and will mean it is always in the 'set' position without you having to manually push it up to engage it.
