Not on the bench, more like part of the bench. I was becoming concerned about the risk to others imposed by the possibility of brushcutter heads, or parts of, flying around the workshop. So I came up with this simple solution.

Overkill?, maybe.

Not overkill at all. A brogio head failure (I know - they're banned) would destroy that box. It'll slow the projectile but doubt it would stop it coming out...

Been working on a 350 Husqvarna, found a massive air leak around the upper crankcase where it joins the plastic bottom casing. A thin smear of liquid gasket still leaked so used a thicker layer and bingo, got a good seal in the end and then......found the impulse connector on the manifold was split:thumbdown:

Fitted a good second-hand manifold I had and got it sealed in the end.

All back together, ran perfectly and then went to put a bar on it and bingo......the side cover chain brake pivot pin was shagged....I love days like this, hours of work on a limited budget and just when you think it is done......:001_rolleyes::thumbdown:

Could be worse, it could have taken you 4 hrs to get from your place to Maldon. :cursing:
