It is working out a bit too well, had to work two days this weekend to keep up:001_rolleyes: Can't complain though, work keeps rolling in:thumbup: Customers keep coming back and recommending me:thumbup:

From the Irish side of the pond, I can say that last year was generally considered a good year, work-wise. This year is considered to have had an even better start, despite 2 months of solid rain. That's the word from most of the Tradesmen and suppliers I have spoken to. I would say Spud, that if we are busy, then Spud, you will be too...

Steve should I be seeing a spark if the coil is working ? I can feel one but I'm pretty sure it should be a lot stronger and visually there!

If its a weak spark might not see it unless you check it in the dark . Usually can see a healthy spark in the natural light in the workshop .

I did try two plugs and put a warm one from a 460 in to see , to be honest that was my thinking as well stubby , even turned the light off and can't see a thing.

Check the earth's? Of a different coil? Could be breaking down I suppose with age

It is worth metering off the HT lead and making sure that is OK, disconnecting the kill wire etc. You can sometimes feel the HT a little but you should be able to jump 5-10mm with a decent coil. Make sure the coil is well earthed on the body of the saw - My My - that's a big saw:sneaky2:

Ok will disconnect the kill switch and wrap up that wire and give it a try.
