hello spud iam looking for a peice for a 254xp its a peice of plastic or a rubber grommet it fits onto the main body of the saw where the throttle linkage slides through it at the moment the throttle linkage is too low and it isnt connecting to the trigger on the handle i was wondering if anybody had one too sell or new exact name or part number

Had the exhaust bolts come loose 3 times today on my fs400 Strimmer. Can I use threadlock to fix them? Will it take the heat ok?

Hello Gents,

Got a bit of a problem with my on Husqvarna 55 not lubricating the bar and dripping veg oil all over the show. It seems to be leaking from the spot I'm pointing to with the screwdriver in the picture. Any suggestions on a fix would be much appreciated.

The 357 is mine . I bought it as a part ex, and had it delivered to Spud. I spent over an hour stripping and cleaning my 038 before I sent it to the buyer. He obviously didn't do the same for me!

 

Sorry mate, it's a bit like being an IT consultant and being asked to clean off someone's dirty keyboard!

 

At least the previous owner of the Husqy had to pay extra for all that crap he sent with the saw!

thats the one :thumbup: the bottom of the linkage has been rubbing on the saw body and its a little bit grooved i bought this saw from ebay and just putting it back together and it should be a runner

 

I think it is part 501 87 68-03, not got one spare:thumbdown:

Been damn busy lately, not had time to put up images etc.

 

MS200 in filthy condition, 130psi non runner - now up to 170psi and much cleaner and running sweetly - carb accelerator pump also done to avoid future issues. I also tweaked the squish and did a muffler mod - for an old saw it sounded nice and tight after the rebuild.

 

346XP (45cc) ported and muffler mod, found the crank side seal was leaking under vacuum so new seal on order - that one repair will have probably saved the P&C in time:thumbup:

I broke my collarbone pretty badly on tuesday night so dont think I will be getting to play with them as soon as I thought! Barbecue and pitbikes in the woods didn't go fully to plan. Tree climbers dont lend them selves well to being inactive!

 

Let me know how the 346 is once you have the seal.

That doesn't sound good, hope it heals fast........still waiting for the seal but will be a quick re-assembly once in
