anyone who still uses a prussic either hasn't tried anything else, or hasn't tried it for long enough to get used to it. i could never go back to a prussic after climbing on a HC/VT

You couldn't be further from the truth. Advancing your climbing practices only enhances the fun. I'd love the opportunity to climb for a couple of hours with people who believe this.

Was stuck in the mud for years climbing with just a prussic but had tried to get the hitch climber to work but could not get on with it. Was doing a job with Rich Rule and was chatting about it he set it up for me and havent really looked back since.You have got to try new things, had a go with different spikes back along and can only say completeley changed the way i climb with them and was on the phone to honeys soon after.I also believe the working life span of a climber is much longer due to the advancement in the kit we use.
