iam i the only person who climbs with just rope and rope??

i think its because i hanvt ever used lock block??and micro pullys, i would like to see how they work/set up ,

anyone who still uses a prussic either hasn't tried anything else, or hasn't tried it for long enough to get used to it. i could never go back to a prussic after climbing on a HC/VT

Stick with ur prussic, I tried a spider jack and a lock jack but couldn't get on with either, old school rules, long live the prussic!

You couldn't be further from the truth. Advancing your climbing practices only enhances the fun. I'd love the opportunity to climb for a couple of hours with people who believe this.

Was stuck in the mud for years climbing with just a prussic but had tried to get the hitch climber to work but could not get on with it. Was doing a job with Rich Rule and was chatting about it he set it up for me and havent really looked back since.You have got to try new things, had a go with different spikes back along and can only say completeley changed the way i climb with them and was on the phone to honeys soon after.I also believe the working life span of a climber is much longer due to the advancement in the kit we use.
