They don't need washing, they are like dreadlocks, they start cleaning themselves after the first 3 or 4 months.

 

People with dreadlocks tend to have a slightly musty aroma ,whereas a pair of trousers that have been dragged around dirty hedges and slimy sycamores and not washed for a month or two tend to be offensive enough to put me off my cheese and pickle:001_smile:

And get near a squirrel dray, and you will have a nice family of squirrel fleas in residence, having a feast every time you put them on.

i seem to remember reading somewhere [prob on the label] that there not supposed to go in a washing machine.. you lay them flat in a bath and wash them down with a shower head with warm water.. and use a brush but only brush them from top to bottom... i used to put mine in washin machine.. cant say i've worn a pair for few yrs now..

I think your getting confused with tumble drying, that a no no.

 

Your supposed to lay them out flat while they dry.

ah that could be it.... but i remember summin about brushin them in one direction?

i just wash them normally 40 deg.

saying that, i washed them for the first time in quite a few months the other day

I wash mine at 30% then tumble dry on low heat, if I need them quickly. Doesn't seem to affect them at all.
