Thanks for the pictures. So is that essentially a heated timber box inside a barn? Not airtight I see but does that matter? Nothing to stop that being outside and the roof made watertight?

Anyone else slow on sales? We're not disastrous by any means but after a record year last year we seem to be half of what I expected and our wholesale customers are even worse.

Hopefully we get some cold weather soon as it's been a warm winter so far.

Alternatively I've got plenty of wholesale logs for sale ;)

Pushed the price up by 20% and have now almost sold out.  Mildest winter we've had here for many years but think because it's so wet people are staying in and enjoying the fire.  Need to find a bigger shed!

I can imagine it's a tricky one this year as the inevitable price rise will have pushed end user prices up. I was chatting about this with my old business regarding sawn timber. You just can't do a typical 2-4% inflationary rise when raw materials have gone up 30 odd percent.

Been flat out this year with firewood, hopefully it'll quieting down as every bit of machinery I have is screaming out to be serviced.

Prices will be going up for the first time in 6 years so will see how that goes down.

Slower right down after Xmas. Still taking on plenty of new customers which is a bonus so not a big slow down. Increased drying capacity though so we can take as much as mother nature wants to throw at us.

Been a pretty good few months for us, similar to last year in sales. Probably averaging 70 cube a week which is about our limit with drying. I'm actually hoping not to have a Christmas rush this year but no doubt we'll have the usual people phoning on the night beforeChristmas Eve for delivery before Christmas. :)
