they're all much of a muchness, unless you want tog et specific with years. the early transits and LDV's were the same pretty much mechanically. modern ivecos are plagued wth fuel injection problems, transits seem alright and aren't the new ldv's FWD?

Has anybody ever weighed a 3.5T tipper and tool box with two men and tools and fuel?

 

Well I'll tell you. It weighs about 3495kilos. For those of you without a calculator, that leaves you enough margin for five litres of extra petrol but not the plastic can to carry it in so you must drink it, lest the rozzers take you to the weigh bridge!

 

Therefore the only truck good for our job is a 10tonner or bigger or a big Unimog. Otherwise you'll have to tip off every two hours!
