This is another good reason for one handing the 020, it haves your exposure :thumbup1:

 

And if you alternate which had you use it with (as I do) your really reducing the risk :thumbup1:

I was told that the gel gloves don't help as you just tend to grip tighter.

 

I think the fact that gloves keep your hands warm (improving circulation) does help.

havs, carpel tunnel, compartment syndrome and triggering,,, operations to solve all imminent,,

 

whats the operation for HAVS? I know carpel they cut the nerve. Also what is compartment syndrome and triggering

no operation for havs,, but 3 ops for the others,, compartment syndrome is the posh term for "arm pump" and triggering there isnt an abbreviation but my fingers are robotic,, does that make sense?

This is a very interesting thread and one in which i'm very interested, i've only started climbing and cutting etc since last april and am keen to make sure i'm in good fettle in my old age lol currently 21

 

does everyone use all saws with the best av??

I’ve ticked the ‘don’t suffer’ box because we try to adhere to HAV regulations (only in the last 12 months though).

 

I do get very numb fingers when I’m out with the camera in the winter, I’ll put this down to poor circulation for now though.
