Red diesel costs.

Just wondering what's others are paying for red.

 

I filled up a load of jerry cans the other day which cost 88.9p from a garage pump.

 

Have no space to store much more than about 200 litres so bulk delivery is out.

 

Still a lot cheaper than White which is ranging from 129.9-135.9p depending if you can be bothered to drive another 500 yards!

I paid 73.9p per litre the other week at a garage in north somerset. Im back up that way this weekend so im heading there this afternoon with 4 25lt containers to fill up!!

White is as much as 140p per ltr at some stations down in dorset at the moment - its getting a joke!

Minimum delivery is 500 litres I paid about 50p + vat at end of summer. They will not fill 205 litre drums.

I buy mine from a the company I rent my lock up from. They buy it in 1000L at a time and only charge me the same rate that they get it at. last lot was 49p +vat. Will be interested to see how much the next lot is. I get 100L at a time in 25L containers because storage space is limited for me.

 

My friend dropped round 25L of free Jet fuel last night so that all helps!!

I pay 79p a litre for red and £1.32 for white. I was thinking of buying a tank for white as my van runs on it and my Land rover too. I enquired about buying 1000 litres of white at a time (last week) and i can get it delivered for £1.10 a litre. That would be the way to go surely for some of you guys as you must use a lot more white than red? The savings cound be immense over a year.
