Ladder or not?

the only time i use a ladder is hedge trimmin , but never climbing and if you do find yourself useing one may be you sould take more time practiseing useing your throw ball? thats what makes you an all round climber

How do you get on roofs? A tree surgeon w/o a ladder is a tree surgeon missing a good piece of gear.

Ladders have there place. I use them if the circumstances benefit from them.

No equipment should be ruled out by prejudice, all equipment has its place!

I dunno about you lot but sometimes i find that trying to access a small tree with a tight crown structure can be a real pain in the butt to throw line. Gimme a 60ft throw no probs, 20ft? you'd think it would be easy wouldn't you. Ladder wins.

ladders are vital, a good set saves you lots of time imo
