Bought a pair of boots off Fleecebay as im still trying to get started and cash is tight. Described as couple of scuffs but nothing major. They turned up and the a***hole had obviously cut into the side then tried to superglue it!

When we complained he tried to say i was lying and the boots were fine! Eventually Fleecebay decided in our favour after i said i would supply pics to prove it but iv now learnt my lesson. Fleecebay sucks ****

For all that have replied to this thread purchasing kit of any kind from ebay is more than a crap shoot. I compare it to polishing a turd and the end result is about the same all over your hands.

I've bought a lot of different things of ebay and they have all been excellent, when ever I have had a problem they have always been sorted without any problem at all.

I have some bargains off it to, but am finding more hassle when selling things. People not paying or complaining even when the item is brand new.

Recently I bidding on a bike and outbid by £20 then it gets relisted as a buy it now a week later.

i bought my first 440 off fleabay.

the saw was sold for £127 and described as "running but won't cut"

seller was from Barnsley, so went to pick her up, it was dark when i got there and the guy went down the garden to the shed to fetch her.

fired it up, and it ran as sweet as a nut, loads of compression.

He said he'd taken it to his local Stihl dealer to try n repair but they said it couldn't be fixed and offered him £50 off the rrp of a new saw.

Paid him the cash for the saw n took it to the car and threw it in the boot.

as i was closing the boot lid noticed the chain on back to front !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry but couldn't resist telling him why the saw wouldn't cut anything....

he was fuming to say the least and was threatening the dealer with all sorts of legal action.

still got the saw today, still running sweet as

roll on fleabay
