Hi there just got my new 52 transit crewcab tipper today. need some ideas for cages/greedyboards. also can anyone show me any good rear cab tool store design.

Cost me £150 pounds and 3 hours to make ,proper marine ply not normal marine ply ally was £750 for just the sides without all the other stuff to do and make

A thread based on mine with toolbox etc. There has been some mods since like a scoop on the roof to catch chips but you will get the general idea.

 

Mozza and Rupe on here have done nice ones too but try a few searches, theres loads about this subject on here.

my toyota dyna. tool box at the front of the bed, has 4 shelves in accessable from both sides. tail gate swings from top or bottom.

Mine came with a cage so thought i would utilise it in the chip box, drilled and riveted 1mm steel to the out side and made a welded frame for the top so you can walk on it,makes some hedges easyer... pretty straight forward and easy to convert back if i sell.

With a tank of fuel and nothing else, comes in at 2240kgs Johnny. Thats a recent check too with the extra scoop on the top. Will be about 900kgs payload after ladders, kit, saws and a couple of us.

 

Yours any where near that Johnny?
