The spec so far is steel box section with galv 1.2mm tin, 1.25m high, incorporating toolbox(still on tipping bed), square sides(no sloping corners) hinged and removable, and open top to be covered with a net when chipping.

Heres a few pics so far and i did get a good bit of the tin put on today, but if anyone has got any useful tips for the final touches, such as brackets to hang stuff, are you painting it pink, put this here etc, etc, fire away!

I built my own chip box too and its great to do but also a night mare!!!

Are you going to tip the toolbox as well?

I only ask as it will be extra weight in front of the ram which is not need should you accidently load it too full with chip!

I also intended to build the back of mine completely square like yours but half way through realised that its wasted space and also should you want to load logs/rings into the back and you are standing on the very back you will have to be bending and minding your head all the time!!!!!

I also built a ladder rack inside of my box so it look really neat!!!!!

Keep the pics coming.
