at a guess i've got 64k left on the house and approx 20k on business toys and credit cards but they are slowly getting paid off, had 30k+ debt 7years ago and paid it all off within two years but sunk back in a bit again, at least i have a few toys to show for it now though:001_cool:

£172 a month mortgage for another 15year, oh and this thread has just reminded me that I owe Justin £70.

 

Would you not be better overpaying and getting it paid off in a few years??

Dont see much point really, it's not like I even notice the repayments going out of the account.

 

Isn't it best to have a little credit to keep your rating high incase you want to borrow ?......That's what someone told me.

When I ran Barrowcliff's it stood at about 100k, now that has finished , a divorce and working for GreenMech has made it about 150k for the next 20 years:w00t:

 

Trapped in a house that was brought high and now worth low.

 

About 110k to the ex. (sold the old house)

 

No credit cards, all mortgage.

 

What's in the house/garage is all mine.

Don't owe a penny luckily, from times in past I put away money for savings because I had a feeling the Economy was gonna take a nosedive, the '' boom '' period of our Economy was lasting too long it was bound to take a nosedive like it did do.
