No housing its in sutton veny. When the limb fell off last year there was a guy stood under the tree, possibly the luckiest guy alive. The branch landed with him in the middle of a fork, only injury was two black eyes.:scared1:

 

I saw that in the paper. If I remember the tree had a TPO and the council had refused an application to reduce it.

loch lomond then, too many idiots in speedboats and jetskis on that one, a shame.

but all those islands would be great to explore.

 

 

 

Yeah remember something about speed restrictions coming in, but I'd imagine it probably didn't get passed. :thumbdown:

 

At least when I was there, things appeared at a more relaxed pace.

 

Even if it was a wee bit dreaky.

Thats the one, housing had a picus test done and aparently there is only 3 inches of sound wood round the base and the tree is a good 6 feet in diameter:ohmy:

 

 

Those lochs look nice, would love to go exploring with the float tube after some brow trout:001_cool:
