Cool pictures. Can I ask 2 things? what is your minimum diameter to have your Tie In Point in a dead tree like that?

Cheers Arrozdoce. I can't remember the tie in point exactly, but I recall making it a good one!

In my experience with a tree like that, it's a case of sussing it out on the way up to the tie in point. The delignification in that case was only apparent in the main stem, so the tie in points higher up were pretty sound.

That's the Multisaver there, the 2.5 metre version I think. I like it as it's long enough to wrap around two smaller tie in points higher in the tree, amoungst other things.
